Canon Printer Resetting
When your Canon printer is not working correctly or when you’re experiencing problems such as a printer error, you may need to reset your printer. Luckily, resetting your Canon printer is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps.
Step 1: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Allow the printer to cool for a few minutes before continuing.
Step 2: Press and hold the “Reset” button on the printer. This button is usually located on the top left side of the printer. While still holding the “Reset” button, press and hold the “Power” button as well.
Step 3: Hold both the “Reset” and “Power” buttons for around 10 seconds. The printer should beep once and the “Reset” button will flash. Release both buttons.
Step 4: Hold down the “Reset” button again and re-plug the power cable into the printer’s power slot.
